Marketing yourself is not an optional skill, it’s a necessary skill. Afterall, we are constantly marketing ourselves whether we are conscious of it or not. Our clothing, body language, and storytelling all come together in a complete package to represent our personal brand and is percieved, often subconsciously, by others. How they percieve our brand will determine what doors open to us in all aspects of our lives. What jobs we get reffered to, what social activities we get invited to, what blind dates we get set up on. That’s why its so important to be consistent and authentic in our personal marketing. Think about what’s most important to you and where you want to be in five years. Now think about how you may be percieved by others. Is their image of you going to help or hinder your path to reaching this vision?
