Nice to see you on this 7th day of the 10-Day Medium Success Challenge Without Membership. If it’s the headline that made you click on the article, continue reading till the end, you won’t regret it I promiss.

I will be sharing ways that can really make a difference in getting people to read your articles – creating headlines that grab attention. And if you’re still reading this, you know my method works!

You need to consider an article as being a present, and the headline is the colorful wrapping paper that invites someone to open it up. You need your headline to make people think; I’ve got to read this.

Let me give you 7 simple tips

  1. The First Hello

Your headline is like the first ‘hello’ to your readers. Keep it simple, clear, and something that makes them curious to know more.

2. Short and Sweet

Long headlines can be a bit like a rambling friend that keeps talking all day. Aim for short, punchy headlines that get straight to the point.

3.Feeling is Key

People love feeling something when they read. Use emotions like curiosity, excitement, or surprise to draw them in.

4. Pose a Question

Ever been curious about something and just had to find out the answer? Use questions in your headlines to spark that same curiosity in your readers.

5. The Magic of Numbers

Think about when you see a list – it’s like a promise of getting useful information in bite-sized pieces. Try using numbers in your headlines.

6. Words that Matter

What words would you type if you were searching for your article online? Use those words in your headline to make it easy for readers to find you.

7. Testing, Testing

It’s okay to play around with different headlines. Think of it like trying on different outfits – you want the one that makes you feel your best. Similarly, test out different headlines to see what resonates with your readers.

Your headline is your article’s first impression, so make it count. Put in some effort and a little bit more time than you usually do. It’s really going to make a difference.

Stay tuned for Day 8, where I will share how to make your articles stick out with visuals and multimedia. If you read this till the end, leave a comment and let’s keep in touch, I can’t wait to see what you will create next!
